Skirling Kirk - Organist

Skirling Kirk, near Biggar, is looking for an organist from mid-August. Services take place weekly at 11.30am . As part of the parish of Upper Tweeddale, services are lead by a rotating team of preachers who choose 4 hymns each week from the Church Hymnary. The church is supported by a regular congregation of about 20 people, and often more when combined services take place such as at Christmas and other festivals.
The organ is a superb 3 manual Allen Organ, which would not be out of place in a cathedral setting.
Although required for weekly services, there are two members of the church able to sub should breaks or holidays be needed. A unique opportunity for someone who may not want the pressure of having to play every week if so desired.
