Broughton St Mary's Parish Church: Music Director

Broughton St. Mary’s Parish Church is seeking to appoint an organist/choir director.

The church has a 2 manual Lewis organ (1882) which is well maintained.   The instrument is regarded as a great example of Lewis’ work (being virtually unaltered).  There is also a modern ‘baby grand’ piano.

The church has a tradition of choral music with an adult choir.  Hymns are chosen by the minister and include varied settings of some modern contemporary hymns and songs.   Choir Introits and Anthems are accompanied weekly by the organist either on organ or piano.
