Professor Jeremy Dibble (Durham University), a leading academic on British music from the 19th and 20th centuries, will reflect on the life of Sir John Stainer and his most famous work, 'The Crucifixion'. The talk will include musical excerpts sung by the Choir of St Mary's Cathedral.
